FAQs answered.

What is your turn around time?

My turnaround is typically 2 -3 weeks. I always try my best to deliver as soon as possible while also giving each image the love and attention it needs for the editing process. For special cases expedited editing may be available for an additional charge.

How long have you been doing photography?

I got my first camera when I was 14 and shot my first wedding at 16. So about 15 years! (what?!)

Do you deliver RAWS?

No, I do not send raws as I believe editing is half the magic that goes into the photo therefore the photos are only halfway done. My culling process typically only takes out duplicates, exposure tests, and general not-so-good aka “didn’t make the cut” photos.

Can you photoshop me?

I always do blemish corrections and general skin clean up to help enhance your features but that is generally all I do. Also things like scrapes or bruises, stuff that normally would not be there. I encourage self love + body positivity, therefore I do not make unnatural alterations to the way anyone looks. That being said, If there is something you are particularly worried about please let me know ahead of time and I can do my best to pose you so you can look and feel your best.

I am awkward and hate getting my photo taken will you help me?

Yes! I will help direct you in a way that feels natural and looks good. I often get positive feedback from clients who usually feel uncomfortable in front of a camera that they were pleasantly surprised at how effortless and fun the shoot ended up being.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule?

A reschedule must be made within 72 hours of the scheduled date. After the grace period a $50 rescheduling fee will apply. Reschedule must happen within the same calendar year as booking or client must put down a new deposit and contract. Cancellation of any kind will result in forfeit of non-refundable deposit. Unavoidable things like weather, emergencies etc will be rescheduled to another date free of charge.

Can I re-edit my photos?

This is a hard No, photos are not to be re-edited and are legally the property to the artist that creates it, the client is given a personal use and print release. Would you buy a painting and paint over it? Probably not. Same goes with re-editing a photographer’s work. Per contract, You have a 15 day period after photos are delivered if you feel the editing needs more attention or something was missed. After that period re-editing will be available for an hourly fee. Choosing the right photographer means choosing someone’s general editing is what you want so definitely keep this in mind when deciding if I’m the right fit!

How does booking & payments work?

require a 30% non-refundable deposit upfront to get you a spot on my calendar, then the remainder will be due before the shoot. Payments may be split to help make it affordable. Payments may be made securely through bank transfer, credit card (3% fee) or Venmo.

Do you shoot babies?

Nope, it’s just not my thing. but I love maternities!

Let’s do this.
